We are looking for an individual who has extensive experience within Azure cloud technologies. You will be at the forefront of the team in shaping and creating content for the next generation of learners. We are at a very exciting time within the business having recently launched our new consumer platform, you will be joining with the freedom and opportunity to shape, develop and create Azure content.

We will be looking to you to lead and guide the Azure team forward, owning and ensuring we stay sharp and at the forefront of Azure technologies. You will be directly managing a team and being involved in not only your own, but their continued development in the Azure discipline.

As an Azure Content Architect you will get to:

  • Use your advanced Azure skills to create learning content that will not just educate but give practical professional skills to our global learning community
  • Write supporting documentation for content design, system configuration, and on-going support both internally and externally
  • Maintain technical knowledge of current technical trends and standards
  • Provide Subject Matter Expert level support when needed, including leadership of technical investigations and education on all things Azure for the go deploy employees
  • Create content roadmaps and direction setting in advance of up to 6 months
  • Develop and manage all pipeline work relating to Azure including reviewing and testing
  • Learn about and work hands-on with the latest cloud tools and products
  • Maintain, design, and create online Hands-on Labs, Assessments, Learning Paths based on data and customer feedback

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of extensive hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure
  • Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-104 + AZ-305) or (AZ-303 + AZ-304/305) certifications or proven experience within subject matter
  • Designing, deploying, and managing cloud environments in Azure
  • Familiar with Agile and DevOps methodologies
  • Process driven and strong attention to detail
  • Training and/or classroom teaching experience desirable

Frontend Software Engineer

We’re looking for a highly skilled Front-End Developer to support our growing team. Your mission will be to define and create highly interactive interfaces for our API-first lab platform. As a Front-End Developer, you will face some of the most interesting challenges you may have experienced in building rich and dynamic interfaces for the consumer and enterprise market. You will be involved in exciting new projects, including the redesign of a Hands-on Labs platform for the Enterprise, as well as developing new features into our new consumer learning platform.

What else you will do:

  • Collaborate closely with engineering and product marketing to bring design concepts into reality
  • Integrate user interface design and visual design functions to produce simple, highly usable, scalable components that create cohesive, positive user experiences across multiple product lines.
  • Work with other groups throughout the company to support our collaborative design culture, a cohesive user experience, and a powerful corporate brand.

Essential skills and experience:

  • Strong front-end development skills
  • Experience working with multiple front-end frameworks, specifically Vue and Angular
  • Excellent working knowledge of and in-depth experience working with RESTful or HTTP-based web services in a front-end context, Javascript, Typescript, Webpack, Vue (including Vuex) and Angular, CSS, Bootstrap. Preferably with a minimum of 5 years of experience working on front-end projects
  • In-depth experience writing tests using Jest or other front-end test frameworks, as well as testing with browser drivers like Selenium
  • Experience working with terminal-based technologies like NPM, NVM, docker and Git. This could be through CMD, Powershell, Bash or others.
  • An understanding of cloud-based technologies on platforms like AWS, GCP and Azure
  • Knowledge of hypervisors and remote desktop technologies would be beneficial but not required
  • Experience with Jira or similar project management platforms.
  • Involvement in working with truly continuous deployment pipelines
  • Participating in code reviews of pull requests, providing feedback to others as well as discussing and applying feedback to your own pull requests
  • Exposure to building Docker images for deployment, but not required
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience developing successful and impactful products from concept through production and the ability to showcase your work
  • All prospective interview candidates will be required to take a short practical test.
